Over the weekend, the Mav’s placed 5 Wrestlers at the Metro District Tournament as we finished 7th out of 9 teams finishing ahead of Sunset and Southridge.  We had two individuals qualify for the State Tournament as Aiden Lybarger placed 2nd at 106 and Marlon Barrios placed 3rd at 195.  They will be competing in two weeks (Feb 16th-17th) at Portland’s Memorial Coliseum.

We had 3 other wrestlers place at the district tournament as they all finished 5th.  Congratulations to Alex Wessleman at 113, Jacob Eagle at 126 and Marquez Oblad at 160.
